RA

Post a new topicby 92titan on Wed Aug 20, 2008 12:09 pm

Two years ago I was sufffering from symptoms of RA . I told my wife and myslef that it was just from working long hours going to the gym 4 days a week and playing semi pro football.. my wife convinced me to go to a specialist and th Dr. came up with nothing. So about 2 months after the Dr came up with nothing I break my femur in 3 places..So now I am able to get around again and I still have those symptoms aching knees, aching ankles and feet, stiff back swollen hands and wrists.Sometimes when I sit for more than 10 minutes it hurts to get up, and when I do get up I have to stand in that spot for a few seconds before I can take a step.I try to avoid going up and down stairs. I have been to a different DR. he sent me to get blood work done and take xrays I/we ar awaiting the results. Should I be worried or could my body be just tired from years of working out at the gym, all of those pickup basketball games and the the years of football.(from 6 until 32) 2 years of jr college and 12 years of semi pro.
