Overview

Psoriatic arthritis is a disease in which the immune system attacks normal cells in the body, causing damage and inflammation (i.e., an autoimmune disorder). It results in pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints, and scaly, itchy patches on the skin. Psoriatic arthritis is related to the chronic skin disorder psoriasis
