Red vs. whiteI may have had my first bout with gout about a year ago when my right instep became swollen and I was unable to walk for a day or so. I did go to the hospital and the physician provided me medicine, suspecting it was gout.
My question is: I have been drinking a glass of wine each day due to the many beneficial effects that have been reported, including being good for the heart. However, is this a mistake? I of course don't argue that reducing my consumption of beer and other foods is good for me, but is it advisable for people not to drink red wine? Or, should a person who may be susceptible to gout steer towards drinking white wines instead? Thanks, TN Chris
Re: Red vs. whiteIn my experience I do better drinking white as opposed to red, even rose causes me problems
