Gout

First of all thank you for replying to my posting in May. Since then I have been told that I have Hypothyroidism and told that this could be contributing to the build up of uric acid in my joints.
In 1992 I had a kidney removed because of a stone actually my whole kidney calcified it was called
a stag-horn. So I have been prescribed a tablet called Mimpara. I had ultra sound and bloods taken.
and I will be going back to get results next month.

For treatment of gout I have been told to take Allopurinol x 100mg per day and Colchicine x 500mcg twice daily. Because of having only one kidney I am informed I cannot take any other anti -inflammatories. But I have arthritic pain also.

I do hope this makes some sense because I am so confused HELP!
