ebx biopsy

Post a new topicby helene313 on Wed Nov 21, 2007 8:17 pm

I am a 50 year old female, going through perimenopause, pms menopause. You name it, I'm going through it. Everytime I don't get my period for a few months, I start the countdown, and say, this is finally it. Well, I've gotten my period three times in the last three months, each lasting at least 10 days of full bleeding. I went for a transvaginal sono yesterday, only to be told by the tech that I had a very boring uterus! There was nothing unusual. The drs. office called today to say the endometrial lining is indeed thicker than should be. Not by much, but more than normal. I have a biopsy scheduled for 12/6. I need to take some pills to enlarge my cervix for the procedure. I'm not sure I'm having a d&c, or a biopsy. All I want is for the extreme periods to stop. Using a super tampon and a pad every 1/2 hour for 10 days every month is not normal. I was also told to get tested for anemia Anyone else experiencing these symptoms?
