my back is killing me 8 mtx tonight to sore to sleep is anybody out there my age 50

I have been up all night because of pain and I am your age.

I know what it is like not to sleep because of the pain i still make my self go to work everyday dragging along all day and wanting to go home but cannot i have to work i need my insurance and we all have bill's to pay so what can you do .

Donna, are you receiving a biologic or pills to treat? I have, (in addition to RA), fibromyalgia and ankylosing spondylosis. There are days that I can't even roll over in bed let alone get up and get dressed. I found a zero gravity chair that has heat and different levels of massage. This chair has been a God send!!!!!!!!! I also take a lot of scalding showers which also helps. What strategies have you found that work?
